Whilst it seems like everyone is adapting and figuring out what is going on with our ‘new normal’ there’s a group of us that are trying to piece together our shattered world separate to all of this. β € β € On the 19th of March we lost a very close friend in an unexpected tragic way and it’s shaken us. I’m writing to let my beautiful patient brides, colleagues and potential clients know why I have been so distant and MIA at the moment. With all that is going on in the world parallel to this it has made it all that more twisted and difficult. When you only want to be with each other and hold each other close you’re being forced to sit alone, apart and isolated. It all still feels like a dream. Like a long pause. I can’t say what would be different if it wasn’t at this time. I don’t know when I’ll feel like coming ‘back to work’ but I will be answering all your urgent emails within time - I know how stressful this time i

Well hi! What a whirlwind of a day huh? ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As we get in contact with our beautiful clients I am reaaally feeling for you all, really. Know that I am here to chat and offer any help I can. When you think you’re settling in and maybe *just* maybe be able to work this biz thing out... wham! It’s brutal, it’s going to be even more brutal than it is. Stay talking, share your story, share your situation, don’t let yourself get consumed by this. We are in it together, we’re all suffering HUGE financial loss (y’know at least 3 months of straight up income) so we can only be there for each other right now because we all get it. Oh how I loved creating these bouquets! • So many delicious ingredients to work with. Kirsty requested lots of texture and touches of blue and I happily obliged! When the future wifey knows how to hold the bouquet πŸ‘ŒπŸ» β € • This was a special one for Ximena. We painstakingly went over every possible rose and seasonal ingredient a million times pairing them together, removing one, adding another, reducing one ingredient in favour of another and that was just the order spreadsheet! β € • Then there was a mood board and then there was the market trip. I woke up at 4:00am and arrived at market to ensure all that I ordered was correctly received, colours meshed well together and the quantities were correct. β € • Back in the studio we processed hundreds of blooms making sure we picked out the best of the bunch and put them aside. I then spent a couple of hours arranging, putting down, tweaking, walking away, re-arranging and then here we have it... one bridal bouquet for the beautiful Ximena! πŸ₯€ annnd yep! That’s the standard process for every single bouquet and arrangement we create.
